I need to get this information off my chest.
My friend Jack has a tumor in his one kidney.
Okay, I know it can be dangerous or not at all.
Clever people say the following:
What is a tumor?
A tumor, also known as a neoplasm, is an abnormal mass of tissue which may be solid or fluid-filled. A tumor does not mean cancer – tumors can be benign (not cancerous), pre-malignant (pre-cancerous), or malignant (cancerous). There are many different types of tumors and a variety of names for them – their names usually reflect their shape and the kind of tissue they appear in. Put simply, a tumor is a kind of lump or swelling, it does not necessarily pose a health threat.
The last 4 – 6 weeks my Mum and Jacks dad were talking about
Jacks fat tummy getting bigger and bigger.
Jacks dad took him to the vet on Friday and he said it was a huge tumor in his one kidney.
It was pushing and pressing against all his intestines.
On Monday Jack had to go to the University in Palmerston North where they have all these grand and special machines to test and operate with.
They would do tests on Tuesday(yesterday) and operate today(Wednesday)
I haven’t heard any news but I will keep you up to date.
I hope they can cut this “tumor” out and that he
would be “as good as gold” as his dad always says.
