Sad news!

I need to get this information off my chest.

My friend Jack has a tumor in his one kidney.

Okay, I know it can be dangerous or not at all.

Clever people say the following:

Taken from:

What is a tumor?

tumor, also known as a neoplasm, is an abnormal mass of tissue which may be solid or fluid-filled. A tumor does not mean cancer – tumors can be benign (not cancerous), pre-malignant (pre-cancerous), or malignant (cancerous). There are many different types of tumors and a variety of names for them – their names usually reflect their shape and the kind of tissue they appear in. Put simply, a tumor is a kind of lump or swelling, it does not necessarily pose a health threat.

The last 4 – 6 weeks my Mum and Jacks dad were talking about

Jacks fat tummy getting bigger and bigger.

Jacks dad took him to the vet on Friday and he said it was a huge tumor in his one kidney.

It was pushing and pressing against all his intestines.

On Monday Jack had to go to the University in Palmerston North where they have all these grand and special machines to test and operate with.

They would do tests on Tuesday(yesterday) and operate today(Wednesday)

I haven’t heard any news but I will keep you up to date.

I hope they can cut this “tumor” out and that he

would be  “as good as gold” as his dad always says.

    1. Everything went well. He is recovering. For six weeks he has to be quiet. No excitement, two stitches have pulled loose already and had to be replaced. No visitors are allowed

    1. Thank you, he is okay after the operation. He just needs to be kept quiet so the wound can heal. Sounds as if they cleeaned the whole tumor up and out.:D

    1. Thank you. Seems that it is going well It is the second week after operation. We are not supposed to visit him because he would be excited to see us and then his wound could tear open again( witch happened the second day after returning home)
